Welcome back PNW fans. Thanks for joining us for the our next follow-up review to our Dank Mail article. We were sent the November Toker Pack, the $35 glass pack you can get as a monthly subscription.
There are more and more of these subscriptions popping up which means more and more competition for the customers to subscribe to them. Some will fail for lack of quality, others will step it up and make sure that they provide quality products.
This was the first month the Toker Pack was delivering and sadly they missed the mark compared to several other subscriptions we’ve reviewed.
The Toker Pack:
So, first off I have to say I was HIGHLY disappointed with the quality of the packaging. It came in a discreet brown box, but it was addressed from a person and I had no idea who it was coming from!
Cutting the tape and opening the box left us just as mystified as we were when we first got the box! We had two oddly wrapped foam and bubble wrapped bundles and STILL nothing to tell us what we were getting!
Look at that! We had two bundled like that one, the second one was much smaller but just as oddly wrapped. Finally, as we pulled them out of the box we came across an insert that told us what we had……
That’s it, nothing else and at the very bottom of the box. No website, no list of included items, nothing but a poorly printed paper insert with the name and cost. There wasn’t much in the way of motivation for a second month from what we saw here……
So what did we get you’re asking? Well, we began unwrapping the bubble wrap of the smaller bundle and we come across a spool of Ital Hemp Wick on a lighter spool so you just have to slide your Bic in it.
The rest of the bundle unwraps to reveal the (and pardon my rant here……) ABSOLUTE MOST FUCKING WORTHLESS GRINDER I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS AND SHOULD NEVER BE USED TO GRIND YOUR HERB WITH!!
I almost didn’t include a photo of this thing and I’m very disappointed in this! I can only imagine this breaking down slowly but surely and you smoking plastic particles in your joints or vaping them in your Phantoms! Negative points for sure!
I’m shaking my head at this point as I unwrap the larger bundle. I pull a bunch of bubble wrap off to find this odd bundle taped together with painters blue blocking tape. Not too appealing.
I start to unwrap this and……boom! Something falls out and when I pick it up I find a busted ass glass blunt. It’s destroyed, I don’t even have a picture of it for you. We didn’t know it was there and had no contents list so we didn’t know to watch for it. I would never have expected it wrapped in a bundle with other items either……
When we were done we found not only that blunt, but two glass spoons as well. One is a very tiny one that I honestly don’t know why people find these cool. They’re functional but not really usable, not really my thing for sure! The other spoon is a huge multi-colored piece that is actually quite nice.
Both are fairly thick and durable and are by far the best two items of the box.
Value and Flaws:
Let’s break down the cost of the items included in the box shall we?
- Grinder – Retails around $2.50-3.00 ish but you couldn’t pay me to take one, no value here in our opinion
- Hemp wick spool – $3.50
- Glass Blunt – $15-20
- Tiny spoon – $5
- Large spoon – $15
This makes the box worth around $40, and charging $35 means that they do technically give more value than you pay for the subscription. But this box has no smalls, no items that are special or captivating, and was so poorly packaged that we broke one of the items before we even knew it was there and couldn’t even use it.
Finally, the content card being packed at the bottom. If you can call it that anyway! We didn’t know who it was from, the packaging was poor, and the insert telling us what we were getting was at the bottom where we couldn’t see it!
